J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

April 12, 2021

Presentation, Joint IOP for Nuclear, Subnuclear and Astrophysics, My room...?, Zoom

Talk at the Joint IOP 2021 for Nuclear, Subnuclear and Astrophysics. The topic was an overview of the main ALICE results for J/Psi photoproduction in UPC. Great talk to be honest.

J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

September 25, 2020

Presentation, ALICE Physics Week, Zoom, ALICE Physics Week, Zoom

Talk at the ALICE Physics Week about my main results. I will update this section with more details as soon as the paper gets to ArXiv…

UPC in ALICE: a powerful microscope for gluon pdf

September 25, 2020

Presentation, UK Nuclear Lockdown Seminars, Zoom, UK Nuclear Lockdown Seminars, Zoom

Talk at the UK Nuclear Lockdown Seminars. Overview of the main ALICE results for Ultraperipheral Collisions.

UPC : a powerful tool for J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

May 25, 2020

Poster, Supposedly Paris, but actually Zoom due to Covid..., Paris, Zoom

Poster at LHCP 2020 (Large Hadron Collider Physics). The venue should have been Paris, but Covid was of another opinion… The poster described the most recent results on Ultraperipheral Collisions, which included all of the ALICE Run 2 dataset, both pPb and Pb–Pb. Here is a picture with all the available participants!

J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

March 26, 2020

Presentation, Supposedly CERN, but actually Zoom due to Covid..., Geneva, my living room

Talk at the ALICE Juniors Day, during the March 2020 ALICE Week. Overview of ALICE results about J/Psi photoproduction in Ultraperipheral Collisions, along with the activities currently going on.

Outreach with High School Students

February 18, 2020

Presentation, Pisa, Pisa, Italy

Outreach session with high school students. An undefeatable team of three people joined forces to help these students getting acclimated with the CERN environment! Sabino Zagaria, Evelina Durastanti and I, made a fool out of ourselves showing the engineering, administrative and physics sides of CERN. But what a great time. Shame that the Covid outbreak started the following day in Italy…

Poster on recent results with Pb-Pb UPC with the ALICE detector at 5.02 TeV

July 30, 2019

Poster, Glasgow, Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow, Scotland, UK

Poster at INPC 2019 (International Nuclear Physics Conference), the biggest conference of its kind. The venue was Glasgow, which led to the tasty haggis opportunity… The poster described the most recent results on Ultraperipheral Collisions, which included all of the ALICE Run 2 dataset. This increased the precision of our results a lot compared to the Run 1 experience!

Poster on the production of pions, kaons and protons with the ALICE detector in Xe–Xe collisions at 5.44 TeV

July 30, 2018

Poster, Bologna, San Domenico's Centre, Bologna, Italy

My first poster ever… Same topic as my mater thesis, from which it was pretty much taken. My supervisors at the time led me to provide a little help to obtain the spectra of pions, kaons and protons in the (at the time) new Xe–Xe data, in order to ultimately derive the Blast-Wave parameters from it. My first international conference… Unforgettable!
