C++ Journey Chapter Intro

Published:

This C++ Jouney is actually dedicated to a professor of mine from University days, who actually passed to better life a couple months ago. I owe to him all the start of my career. He taught me everything I needed to start coding, and to enjoy it too…! Thanks, professor.

Poster on recent results with Pb-Pb UPC with the ALICE detector at 5.02 TeV

Published:

Poster at INPC 2019 (International Nuclear Physics Conference), the biggest conference of its kind. The venue was Glasgow, which led to the tasty haggis opportunity… The poster described the most recent results on Ultraperipheral Collisions, which included all of the ALICE Run 2 dataset. This increased the precision of our results a lot compared to the Run 1 experience!

Outreach with High School Students

Published:

Outreach session with high school students. An undefeatable team of three people joined forces to help these students getting acclimated with the CERN environment! Sabino Zagaria, Evelina Durastanti and I, made a fool out of ourselves showing the engineering, administrative and physics sides of CERN. But what a great time. Shame that the Covid outbreak started the following day in Italy…

J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

Published:

Talk at the ALICE Juniors Day, during the March 2020 ALICE Week. Overview of ALICE results about J/Psi photoproduction in Ultraperipheral Collisions, along with the activities currently going on.

UPC : a powerful tool for J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

Published:

Poster at LHCP 2020 (Large Hadron Collider Physics). The venue should have been Paris, but Covid was of another opinion… The poster described the most recent results on Ultraperipheral Collisions, which included all of the ALICE Run 2 dataset, both pPb and Pb–Pb. Here is a picture with all the available participants!

J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

Published:

Talk at the ALICE Physics Week about my main results. I will update this section with more details as soon as the paper gets to ArXiv…

J/Psi photoproduction analysis in ALICE

Published:

Talk at the Joint IOP 2021 for Nuclear, Subnuclear and Astrophysics. The topic was an overview of the main ALICE results for J/Psi photoproduction in UPC. Great talk to be honest.
